Quick update

Sorry it's been so long but Charlie's had a bit of break because of shoes being a touch sketchy but we got that fixed today and I had a quick ride - he felt great!  He had his second acupuncture date last Wed and while I wasn't there, vet said he did great and she felt like he was less sore than the first time around.  Definitely good news!  She also got me the number for a massage lady so I might give that a whirl as well.

Thanks so much for all the camera suggestions!  I ended up going with a Cannon and am still crying a bit over the price but I'm sure I'll feel better once I see all the amazing pictures I take when I'm at ROLEX!  So excited to be going - first time.  SuperMom and I leave on Wed after I catch a quick nap. We've got tickets for everything including the reining which I'm pretty excited to see.  The farrier told me show jumping is sold out - his wife is riding!  I'm excited/nervous for the shopping - I'm trying to make a list of things I need and things I want.  The want stuff has to be on serious discount - this needs to be my mantra as I have some issues with impulse control ;).  And lets face it, I don't really need anything but I am allowing myself to look for some brown open fronts and ankle boots.  But that's it - I mean it...sigh...I'm in big trouble...

He needs stuff, right?

May or may not get a chance to update again but rest assured, I plan to take lots of pictures this week!

    2. Here is my email: equestrianathart at gmail dot com. Shoot me an email and we can figure something out maybe. I will be volunteering at the dressage arenas tomorrow (not sure exactly what I will be doing) and then I will definitely be up on Saturday. You will find me at the shopping throughout the day! ;)

  2. You'll have so much fun, and will not regret your Canon purchase! In terms of deals, the best is on the first day at the Stubben tent - you can get some really nice leather products for 90% off if you dig hard enough. At those prices Charlie definitely needs stuff.

  3. Wow ladies, enjoy yourselves at Rolex! I'm well jealous, I hope you have a great time shopping, viewing & of course photographing!
Which canon did you go for in the end? I bought myself a canon last summer and haven't played with it in a while, will probably be picking your brain if it's the same/similar model to mine! :p

    1. Thanks! I got the Ti4 based on a friend's recommendation. I may not be your best bet for questions yet but give me 6 months and I plan to be well-versed!

    1. I hope so! I must tell you - your photos of WEF pushed me over the edge. If I manage to get one or two as nice as your WEF pics, I'll be a happy girl.
